MY BIO:

My name is Andrea, and I was born in the late 1980s in Cagliari, on the Sardinian coast. As a dedicated student, I chose to study Languages and Communication at the Università di Cagliari, graduating in 2013, because I wanted to connect with as many people as possible.

My professional journey began right away with an internship at the Italian Institute of Culture in Poland (March–June 2013), followed by a longer stint as a Talent Acquisition Intern at Siemens, split between Italy and the United Arab Emirates (September 2014–October 2015).

From there, I moved into recruitment proper, starting as an HR Specialist at General Motors in Italy (January–April 2016). A few months later, I took on my first international placement as a Sourcing Specialist at Primark in Poland (May 2016–May 2017), before stepping up to Lead Sourcing Specialist Europe at Microsoft (June 2017–May 2018).

I then continued climbing through AMS placements: Principal Sourcing Specialist Europe at GlaxoSmithKline (June 2018–December 2019), and finally Team Leader Sourcing Europe at Nestlé (January 2020–November 2024), my longest and most senior corporate role, leading a pan-European sourcing team.

Throughout these years and the earlier stages of my career, I also lived and worked across Riga, Warsaw, Milan, Dubai, Turin, and Kraków. After five years abroad, I realised there's no place quite like home, especially when home is the Mediterranean island of Sardinia, so I returned and continued working from there.

Along the way, I earned a postgraduate Master's in International Human Resources Management at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan (2015), and after nearly a decade in corporate recruitment, I felt the pull toward something more so I went back to school again, completing a Master's as an Expert in Professional Orientation and Career Guidance through ASNOR in Rome (2025), and becoming a Certified Professional Labour Guide recognised by the MIM and EUROGUIDANCE.

In January 2025, I founded Career Formulas as Sr. International Job & Career Advisor and Founder, building a project with multiple branches: consultancy, training courses, webinars and workshops, a newsletter, a blog, books, and a podcast to help people find their place in the job market. I went on to teach HR at Time Vision starting in January 2026, and that June took on a role as Consultant | Interim HR Manager at ON – The Next Consulting, the same year I became a proud Member of the American NCDA (National Career Development Association).

Today, despite all the twists in the path, I'm doing exactly what I love most: helping people achieve more!
